Tide Now USA

Tide Now USA provides detailed tide predictions for all U. saltwater states. It has built-in tide data for 1,731 established tide stations. Each location's predictions are made from official tide data sources. Included tide data in the app is valid until the year 2100 without any further updates. These include yearly astronomical data for items that affect the tides. The location selections are organized by state and region within the states.

When a station has been selected, the tide prediction is calculated and displayed immediately. A complete forecast is shown for a 24 hour period with a tide table and graphical display. Tides for any date can be selected with a calendar entry system. Normally the present day's tides are shown. Swiping left or right changes the display to the next or prior day. Tide predictions for the "present 24 hour day" include instantaneous values for tide height, rising or falling direction and rate of change, and a tide table.

The graph shows a time line cursor showing the present moment. This dashed cursor marks the tide graph present value, it touches the X scale where the time of day. Tide predictions for "not the present day" are reduced to information valid for the entire 24 hour date selected. These include the tide table, heights graph, and the sun and moon information for that date. is marked, and if you follow the cursor line above the graph it aligns with sun time line, below it aligns with the moon time line. A variety of graph displays are available, including a detailed one with sun and moon time lines along the top and bottom, a simplified one with just daylight.

When the full detailed display is chosen, the Sun and Moon rise, set, and overhead transit times are shown time-aligned with the tide waveform for the day.
